My parents are two of my biggest inspirations. Mom was a registered nurse and Dad was a marketing professor... so, being a born and bred diplomat, I found my professional happy place as a patient- and customer-obsessed marketing strategist in the Pharmaceutical industry where I could use my inherited traits of compassion and desire for value creation to profoundly transform patient lives. Whether by nature or nurtured, I think these 2 traits are my secret sauce to successfully supporting patients while never having missed a revenue target.
I founded LUMA Health Consulting mainly to intelligently empower patients to better manage their conditions and improve health outcomes.
LUMA is an acronym for Listen, Understand, Motivate, Activate which are key elements of what healthcare needs to improve for, and with, patients. When we are both confident and educated as patients, we do better and consequently, so does the healthcare system and society at large. When you put LUMA into action, benefits abound.
